Patrick ate at Ariano’s on 3/29/11 on a double date.  The restaurant is a BYOB so it seemed like a nice place to go.  They explained that the pizza was wood-fired and cooked at 1000 degrees.  Despite the extremely high temperature it seemed to take awhile.  This was nice because it gave some time to drink the wine we had brought.  There were a large variety of pizzas and we ordered 4 different flavors for the table.  Each pizza was about $12 and 12 inches.  The flavors were just not that good.  I got a pizza with prosciutto and corn called Bucci.  It was not a very good combination and it tasted like they had just put creamed corn on top of the pizza.  For being cooked at as high of a temperature as it was, the crust was not very strong and when I picked up each slice the toppings would fall off.  The restaurant has a nice atmosphere but the pizza is just not very good.  I give Ariano’s pizza 3 slices out of 8 even the atmosphere could not save this below average pizza.
